ASTAT-NEX

When combining larger or heavier lenses with Sony NEX or MFT cameras on a tripod, we recommend the use of the adapter collars ASTAT-NEX or ASTAT-MFT in order to protect your lens as well as your camera.

The tripod collar is attached to the lens adapter, therefore, the lens mount of the camera is relieved.
Besides, it enables a better distribution of weight as the camera is shifted back, so that the lens does not protrude beyond the tripod so much.
 
Installed with 1/4” & 3/8” Thread & Arca-Style Bottom
 
The tripod collar can be mounted on tripod via the 1/4” or 3/8” thread.
The Arca-Style bottom allows the collar to be clamped securely by most Arca-style compatible quick release mechanisms, e.g. Novoflex Q=Mount clamp.
 
There is a textured knob for tightening the ring around the lens adapter. To execute quick changes between horizontal and vertical orientation, you can loosen the knob and rotate the NEX adapter & camera body, the adapter is then able to turn a full 360° within the collar.
 
The inner diameter is approximately 5.9cm. It fits for Novoflex NEX series lens adapters, or you can also use it for lens adapters from other brands which have diameter of approximately 5.9cm.
